Rods & Cones

Rods and cones are the receptors in the retina responsible for sight. They convert light into electrical signals, which are decoded by the vision-processing center of the brain. Just as rods and cones enable sight, the Rods & Cones Foresight Circle enables the Retina Foundation to deliver accelerated solutions to save and preserve vision by contributing valuable financial resources and time.
