Retina Foundation
Most patients are referred to the Retina Foundation by a doctor. Once the Retina Foundation receives a referral, someone will contact you to make an appointment.
To make an appointment, call 214-363-3911.
Once an appointment is made, the Retina Foundation will request records from your general ophthalmologist, retina specialist, glaucoma specialist and/or other relevant doctors.
You will receive a confirmation email with the date and time of your appointment, directions to the office and a form to fill out prior to your appointment. You may email the form to Paige Grona Kennedy pkennedy@retinafoundation.org or bring it with you to your appointment.
Please plan for your visit to take between 90 minutes to 2 hours. During your visit, our team will cover the following with you:

The eye exams are non-invasive visual function exams. We will dilate both of your eyes in order to better examine your retina. Please bring sunglasses with you. If you do not have any, we will provide disposable sunglasses. We will take pictures of the back of your eye using non-invasive equipment designed to track the retina’s surface and inner layers.
Following the tests, you will visit with your doctor, who can provide insight on the tests and answer any questions.
Because of the generosity of our donors, you will not be charged for your visits to the Retina Foundation, and you do not need to provide any health insurance.

We are located at 9600 North Central Expressway Suite 200, Dallas, TX 75231 at the southeast corner of Walnut Hill Lane and Central Expressway in a one-story white building under free, covered parking. A receptionist in the lobby/waiting room will sign you in and alert the staff that you are here.
From the North: Take US75 (Central Expressway) south. Exit Walnut Hill Lane. Turn left onto Walnut Hill. Proceed under US75 and take the first available right onto Golf Lakes Trail. We are located next to Texas Retina Associates in the white building on your right.
From the South: Take US75 (Central Expressway) north. Exit Walnut Hill Lane. Turn right onto Walnut Hill. Take the first right onto Golf Lakes Trail. We are located next to Texas Retina Associates in the white building on your right.
