THE INAUGURAL DR. DAVID BIRCH LECTURE
Dr. Karl Csaky, Chief Executive and Medical Officer of the Retina Foundation, and the Retina Foundation Board of Directors cordially invite you to the inaugural Dr. David Birch Lecture featuring Dr. Jacque Duncan. She will highlight progress made in understanding inherited retinal diseases (IRD) and how we can translate innovative science into effective treatments. The named lecture honors Dr. David Birch’s generational impact on vision science and begins an annual tradition of hosting a distinguished guest lecturer in the retinal degeneration field.
Following the lecture, Dr. David Birch and Dr. Mark Pennesi will join Dr. Jacque Duncan in a conversation about the evolving landscape of gene therapy, clinical trial design and patient-centered innovation.
