Naomi Emmett is an esteemed financial executive with extensive experience in finance, accounting, and operations. With a focus on educational and nonprofit sectors, Ms. Emmett currently serves as CFO/Chief Business Officer for the Retina Foundation of the Southwest. In this position. She manages all financial operations and systems as well as strategically aligns key resources with the Retina Foundation’s mission. She has improved efficacy and efficiency at the Retina Foundation by implementing gold-standard best practices across the board.

Throughout her career, Naomi Emmett has been an integral part of the business and financial management of multiple prominent institutions. At Southern Methodist University, Ms. Emmett served as Director of Operations and Infrastructure in the Office of Research and Innovation, and previously as Financial Business Manager for the Lyle School of Engineering. At The University of Texas at Dallas, Ms. Emmett was Director of Financial Operations and Strategic Planning, and previously Director of Financial Services. In each of these positions, she was integral in providing strategic direction for managing the finances of each respective program.
